Income data was derived from CHASS Data Centre (UofT), a streamlined version of the Canadian National Census Data.

The CSD and CT boundaries were sourced from the Census Geography Website.

The Open Data Toronto Portal. has data regarding the subway shapefiles.

Creating these series of maps was made possible using a variety of tools and open-source online platforms.

The trio of web application languages of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to form the webpage.

Mapbox Studio and Mapbox GLJS to create the visualizations.

GitHub and GitHub Desktop to commit our data online and publish a webpage.

Applying these visualizations to other regions of Canada. A cross-country tool to visualize income.

Including other socioeconomic variables as part of the tool. Being able to integrate population, education, health data, etc.

Adding a slider to easily compare between datasets from the same time range.
